Deborah Hall is the “Resource Specialist” for goodChoice Financial Stability and Family Strengthening Program at Goodwill Central and Coastal Virginia. In 2013 Deborah created and organized Goodwill of Central Virginia first food pantry. Her passion to help people led her to create and organize the first food pantry for Goodwill Central Virginia in 2013. She has written articles for Goodwill Central Virginia and other non-profit organizations.
Deborah is a graduate of the University of Kansas where she studied Journalism at the William Allen White School of Mass Communication and Journalism. Deborah Hall proudly served her country in the United States Marines for three years. She worked as a Communication Center Man, where she was responsible for reading, transmitting and guarding top secret messages.
She moved from Kansas to Richmond, Virginia in 2001 where she presently resides with her husband of 42 years and their two dogs. Deborah has one son, who is presently employed by the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C.
In her free time, Deborah enjoys writing. Her first love is hearing her words live on stage. She also enjoys dancing and is often teased by her non-baby boomer friends for doing the two-step.
She hopes to join in the fight to eliminate “Sex Trafficking”.
