She was playing with Barbies while her older sisters marched on Washington and fought for equal rights but watched and learned. Camille LaCognata represents the beginning of the Boomer generation, who are now entering their seventies.  She began working as a programmer in the 60s when practically no one knew what a computer was.  She has been involved with reaching out to the Boomer/Senior populations helping them absorb new and often unfamiliar technology and become tech-savvy, which can be life-enhancing and even life-changing. Read more…

Marie Giammarco is a mid-generation Boomer who came of age in suburban New York, 50 miles north of the city. A child whose mom and grandparents were Italian immigrants, her close-knit family defined her growing up years. The product of an environment that revolved around food, health, and physical activity, she saw many elderly people age before their time because they lacked these things. Boomer Rita McCullochRita McCulloch, Social Butterfly and Boomer Guardian

Rita McCulloch is a mid-generation Boomer who saw change and turmoil happen all around her from a vantage point as a young African American woman growing up in Huntsville, Alabama. Yet her focus was on family, community, church and helping others.  She began helping seniors with their personal and financial needs as a volunteer while raising her family. She then founded a business, Boomer3Solutions, through which she helps educate, organize, and prepare families for their golden age years and minimize the stress that can be related to caregiving.
